One of my traditional outdoor faucets is located 6 inches from the bottom of my house wall. It is VERY difficult to attach hose lines to it. I was forced to use after market attachments to angle the inlet to the side in order to attach a hose.
Fast forward, when googling different types of outdoor faucets I came across Aquor Water Systems. This would solve my problem, as the hydrant connector is inline to the ground. I purchased the V1 Hydrant and my plumber did the install. Unless I expect a freeze and/or it's the winter/snow season, I leave the connector attached. When needing to remove it for the winter season, I only need to twist off the connector. That's it!! No more worrying about covering the faucet.
Customer Service: The O-ring to my connecter ripped apart. I sent an email asking for assistance. Within an hour of my email, I heard back from the company and was told they would immediately send me replacement O-rings. I was assured this problem is unusual, as the O-rings are of high grade qualilty. This company has THE best customer service I have seen in a long time. I completely reccomend this product to anyone.
