Aquor is thrilled to announce the addition of two new SKUs from the SharkBite family of products: the SharkBite Max Adapter in ½” and ¾” variations.

SharkBite, under Reliance Worldwide Corporation’s family of brands, is the world’s largest manufacturer of push-to-connect fittings. Founded in 1949 in Brisbane, Australia, RWC has grown into a publicly traded company with over 2,000 employees and operations in multiple countries.

“As we grew Aquor, SharkBite was a company we looked up to. We’ve always appreciated how they continue to innovate in the plumbing space, when so much around us has grown stale and antiquated,” said Cash Walcome, CEO of Aquor.

Looking back at the history of push-to-connect fittings, there are similarities between Aquor's and SharkBite's journeys, including objections to a new technology, adoption due to efficiency, and an increasing focus on sustainability. “It is inspiring to see a success story like SharkBite, as we continue to grow the Aquor brand,” said Aiyoko Ishida, Marketing Director.

Aquor will leverage the SharkBite adapters to eliminate friction in the installation process. Push-to-connect connections do not require soldering joints or the use of flux and glues, making installations extra simple. Plumbers can be more efficient with their time and materials, and homeowners now have the capability of taking on a project without investing in expensive tools.

Cash understood that these parts could be sourced elsewhere, but he wanted to create a more cohesive shopping experience for Aquor customers by offering the fittings directly. “We know our customers are using SharkBite fittings, so making it easy for them to order became a priority for us,” said Walcome.

 
Aquor is excited to introduce the SharkBite brand to the company's community, though widespread familiarity is expected. These additions are the foundation of a growing partnership, and the Aquor team can’t wait to continue working with SharkBite on future projects.
